Dia menjelaskan, lampu hias taman pun mulai dicari karena sekarang ini banyak orang yang memiliki taman di areal rumah. “Banyak rumah saat ini yang memiliki halaman luas. Sebagian halaman itu kemudian dijadikan taman. Nah, tentu mereka butuh lampu hias taman,” ujarnya.

Pilih Sesuai Bentuk Ruangan
MENATA ruangan tak lepas akan lepas dari unsur penerangan. Untuk itu, lampu hias sangat dibutuhkan. Paling tidak, lampu hias harus disesuaikan dengan besarnya ruangan yang tersedianya. Namun, tak hanya bentuk lampu yang harus diperhatikan. Model lampu hias pun harus dipertimbangkan.

Lampu hias yang cocok adalah lampu hias dari kaca. “Lampu hias kaca itu sangat pas dipakai di ruangan apa pun, baik ruangan luas maupun ruangan sangat luas. Dengan lampu hias kaca, penerangan yang dihasilkan sangat baik,” ungkapnya.

Lampu hias dari rotan tidak terlalu cocok dipasang di ruangan karena penerangan yang dihasilkan agak kurang. Refleksi lampu juga tdiak maksimal. “Saya lebih senang model lampu hias kaca karena penerangan cahayanya lebih baik. Kalau lampu hias rotan, pencahayaannya kurang,” ujarnya.

Dia menyebutkan, untuk ruangan-ruangan yang membutuhkan sinar terang seperti ruang tamu, ruang keluarga, dan ruang makan, bisa dimilih lampu hias yang berwarna kuning atau putih. Untuk menghasilkan kesan dramatis misalnya di kamar tidur, bisa digunakan lampu hias yang menghasilkan warna kebiruan. “Warna kebiruan bisa memberikan rasa nyaman saat tidur,” jelasnya.

Hal serupa diungkapkan Nuri, salah seorang ibu rumah tangga yang menyukai lampu hias. Menurut Nuri, semua ruangan di rumahnya dipasang lampu untuk menghasilkan penerangan memadai. “Saya suka kalau setiap ruangan itu terang-benderang. Karena itu, setiap pojokan ruangan pasti ada lampu hiasnya,” ungkapnya.

Nuri menyukai model dan bahan lampu hias minimalis dari kaca dengan bentuk berbagai variasi. Tak pelak, rumahnya dihiasi berbagai bentuk lampu hias, mulai kotak, persegi, sampai bulat. “Dari sekian banyak model lampu hias itu, saya menyimpulkan bahwa lampu hias kaca memang pas untuk ruangan apa pun,” jelasnya.

Tak hanya di pojok ruangan, lampu hias gantung pun dipasang di ruang tamu. Tentu, Nuri memilih lampu hias unik yang terbuat dari kristal atau kaca biasa. “Lampu hias gantung pun bagus bila diletakkan di ruang tamu atau ruang keluarga. PERAWATAN KAP LAMPU
1. Perlu diingat, kain kap lampu mudah menyerap debu. Oleh karena itu, sebaiknya kap lampu dibersihkan setiap dua minggu.
2. Bersihkan kap lampu cukup dengan air sabun. Kain kap dibasahi dan disikat dengan sikat berbulu lembut.
3. Jangan pernah merendam kap lampu dalam air sabun karena akan merusak kain.
4. Setelah dicuci, sebaiknya kap lampu dikeringkan secara alami.
5. Hindari pancaran sinar matahari langsung karena dapat merusak kain dan cat pada kayu.
